The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned a $10,000-to-win program that saw thirty-two Super Late Models registering for battle. Chris starting his night strong as he rocketed to fast time honors with a 16.027 seconds lap. He later won his preliminary heat race to lock into the pole position for the 50-lap finale with 2014 LOLMDS National Champion, Don O'Neal alongside.

When the race went green, O'Neal and Ferguson went door-to-door for the race lead off turn-two and down the backstretch before O'Neal took control off turn-four. Ferguson continued to fight back, battling at the front of the back for much of the event. A late restart saw Ferguson slip backwards to fifth in the running order where he would ultimately finish behind race winner, O'Neal, Jonathan Davenport, Earl Pearson Jr., and Kyle Hardy.

"I can't thank Bobby Lake Motorsports enough for helping us make the trip," said Ferguson" To race against the best in the country at a track we've never been at and come home with a strong top five finish, it feels great to prove how great our small, family-owned team is."

April 11th, 2015 - Ferguson Lands Top Ten in King of the Commonwealth
Chris Ferguson resumed competition on Saturday night with a trip to Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) for the annual King of the Commonwealth.

The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series event posted a $20,000 winner's check, and a talent-laden field of forty-six entries were on hand for the event. Chris posted the fastest lap in his group to lock into the pole position for heat race action. Unfortunately, he battled the handle on his Live Oak Aesthetic and Family Dentistry #22 Longhorn/Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model, slipping backwards to a fifth place finish. As a result he would have to run a b-main, which he won to lock into the eighteenth starting spot for the 60-lap finale. Despite starting deep in the pack, Ferguson sliced through the field en route to a solid top ten performance, finishing ninth in the final rundown.
