February 20th, 2016 - Ferguson Heads to Volusia for WoO action
Piloting the Live Oak Aesthetic and Family Dentistry #22 Super Late Model, Chris Ferguson traveled to Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) on Thursday night for some World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) action. Competing in a field of fifty-eight Super Late Models, Ferguson transferred into the B-Main after placing 9th in his heat. Transferring the top two into the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chris retired a 9th place spot in his consolation event.

Starting in 4th in his heat on Friday night, Ferguson came two positons short of a transfer spot with a 5th place finish. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $10,000-to-win feature, Chris retired a 6th place outing.

Competing in the final night of the 45th Annual DIRTcar Nationals, Chris was one of forty-nine entries signed in on Saturday. Falling back to the 16th fastest qualifying time in his group, Ferguson decided to save equipment and called it a night after qualifying.

February 13th, 2016 - Bad Luck for Ferguson on Opening Weekend
Kicking off his 2016 season, Chris Ferguson made the trip to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Georgia) on Friday night for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series (WoO) 2016 season opener. Drawing forty-six Super Late Models for the Winter Freeze VI, Ferguson earned a 3rd row starting spot for his heat based off his qualifying time. Transferring the top four into the main event, Chris recorded a 7th place finish sending him into the B-Main for one more shot at the $8,000-to-win feature. Battling for a transfer spot into the A-Main, Chris Ferguson came up three spots short with a 6th place outing.

On Saturday night Chris Ferguson followed the 4th fastest qualifying time in his group with a 2nd place heat finish behind Brian Shirley. Starting on the front row alongside David Bradsher, Chris stormed to the lead at the drop of the green flag. Leading the $10,000-to-win A-Main until issues arose, Ferguson fell back to a 22nd place outing after suffering flat tire with 12 laps remaining.
