August 26, 2017 - Runner-up Finish in Back to School Bash at FMS
On Saturday night Chris Ferguson made the short trip to Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Back to School Bash 40. Posting the second fastest time overall in qualifying, Chris earned the 2nd-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. After passing race-leader Ross Bailes on lap 22, Ferguson dropped one spot in the remaining distance to place 2nd behind Bailes with Zack Mitchell, Tim Allen, and Ben Watkins completing the Top 5 finishers.

August 19, 2017 - Chris Ferguson Surges to Fifth Win of the Season at Friendship

The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event conquest rewarded him with a $4,000 payday.

“We’ve been a tick off with our Super Late Model program recently, so it was great to get back to Victory Lane,” Ferguson commented. “Dennis [Franklin] definitely made me work for it. I can’t say enough about this team and everything they do for me. Hopefully we can build on this momentum.”

Ferguson invaded the high-banked Friendship Motor Speedway on Saturday night as the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series made their second appearance of the year at the facility. He started the night by laying down the fastest lap in qualifying to earn the pole position for the 22-car field.

The main event found the North Carolina native leading every lap of the 40-lap finale en route to his fifth win of 2017.

August 12, 2017 - Chris Ferguson Wins in Crate at Carolina Speedway
Returning behind the wheel of the Jeremy Bullins #22 Crate Late Model entry, Chris Ferguson visited Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) on Wednesday night for the South Eastern Crate Association (SECA) sanctioned Gaston County Shrine 100. Thursday night brought Ferguson to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned weekend. Drawing 67 Super Late Models for the North-South Shootout, Chris laid down the eighth fastest time in his qualifying group before registering a runner-up finish in his heat race behind Brandon Overton. Staring in 9th for the $10,000-to-win opening night feature, Chris Ferguson slipped back to a 24th place outing in the 50-lap affair.

Returning on Friday night for two rounds of heat races, Ferguson landed a 6th place finish in his first heat before coming in 3rd in the ASi Racewear second heat. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for one final shot at the $50,000-to-win North-South 100, Chris came up short of a transfer position with a 6th place outing in the 15-lap consolation event.

August 5, 2017 - 4th Place Finish in Stick Elliott Memorial at Cherokee
On Saturday night Chris Ferguson visited Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. Posting the second fastest time in a field of 19 Super Late Models, Ferguson earned the 2nd-starting position for the Stick Elliott Memorial A-Main. Losing two positions in the 40-lap affair, Chris posted a 4th place finish behind Ross Bailes, Michael Brown, and Johnny Pursley with Dennis Franklin coming in 5th.
