September 23, 2017 - Ferguson Returns to Victory Lane With Clash Series at Wythe Raceway
Saturday found Chris Ferguson in action at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, West Virginia) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. Timing in fastest overall in a field of 14 Super Late Models, Ferguson earned the pole position for the A-Main. Jumping into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Chris led wire-to-wire capturing his sixth win of the season and a $4,000 payday. September 16, 2017 - Podium Finish in FASTRAK World Championship at VMS
Chris Ferguson made the trek to Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) on Saturday evening for the FASTRAK Racing Series sanctioned contest. Drawing a stout field of 71 Crate Late Models for the World Championship, Ferguson secured his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat race behind Thomas Robinson. Rolling off 13th for the feature, Chris advanced through the field 11 spots in the 60-lapper to place 2nd behind Ross Bailes with Ryan Montgomery, Walker Arthur, and Tyler Bare completing the Top 5 finishers. September 9, 2017 - Ferguson Attends World 100 at Eldora Speedway
On Thursday night Chris Ferguson headed to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) kicking off the 47th annual World 100 weekend. With 105 Super Late Models on hand for the three-day UMP DIRTcar sanctioned program, Ferguson secured his spot into the opening night preliminary feature with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jason Jameson. Earning the 9th-starting position, Chris dropped back to an 18th place outing after he was involved in a tangle in the middle-stages of the 25-lapper.

The following night for another round of preliminary features, Ferguson posted a 3rd place finish in his heat positioning him 14th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $10,000 on the line, Chris gained two spots to place 12th. (Heath Lawson photo)

Bringing the World 100 weekend to end on Saturday, Ferguson slipped back to a 14th place outing in his heat giving him one final shot at the $50,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Slated to start near the back in his consolation event, Chris decided to end the weekend early and sat out his B-Main.

September 3, 2017 - 6th Place Finish in Hillbilly 100 at Tyler County Speedway
After losing Saturday night’s program at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) to Mother Nature, Chris Ferguson headed to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) on Sunday night for the 49th annual Hillbilly 100. Drawing 46 entries for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned event, Ferguson followed up the fourth fastest time in his group with a heat race victory. Rolling off 3rd for the $25,000-to-win A-Main, Chris was battling for a podium spot until jumping the cushion near the midway point of the race.
