July 29, 2017 - Top 5 Finish in Preliminary Feature at FALS
Making the trip 12-hours north, Chris Ferguson was one of 65 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series entries signed in at Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Friday night for the 28th running of the Prairie Dirt Classic. Laying down the second fastest time overall in his qualifying group, Ferguson earned the pole position for the opening night preliminary feature. With $2,500 on the line, Chris slipped back to a 4th place finish behind Mike Marlar, Tim McCreadie, and Jimmy Owens with Rick Eckert coming in 5th.

Returning on Saturday night, Ferguson had already locked his spot into the $30,000-to-win finale with his Top 5 finish in the preliminary feature on Friday. After working his way into the Top 5 from the 16th-starting position, Chris came to a halt on lap 43 after his car popped out of gear. July 18, 2017 - Chris Ferguson Preps for Prairie Dirt Classic; Welcomes New Sponsor
Mt. Holly, North Carolina (07/19/17) – As Chris Ferguson prepares his Diff-Tran Machining #22 K&K Trucking/ Rocket Chassis XR1/ Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model for next week’s 28th Annual Prairie Dirt Classic, he’s proud to announce another marketing partner has joined his team.

July 15, 2017 - Suspension Issues End Ferguson's Night at Wythe
On Saturday night Chris Ferguson headed to Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Virginia) beginning the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series. With 28 Super Late Models signed in, Ferguson followed up the second fastest time in his group behind Vic Hill with a heat race victory. Earning the 4th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chris overtook race-leader Ross Bailes on lap-9 and went on to build a comfortable lead. July 7, 2017 - Ferguson Sweeps LOLMDS Series at Fayetteville For Third Win
Making his first start of the season with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Chris Ferguson visited Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) on Thursday night for the Wayne Gray Memorial. After timing in fastest overall in a field of 25 cars, Ferguson cruised to a 10-lap heat race win locking him on the pole for the feature. Jumping into the lead on the drop of the green flag, Chris held control of the top spot for entire distance of the 50-lap A-Main picking up his third win of the season and first-career Lucas Oil victory. Pocketing a $10,000 payday, Chris Ferguson topped Gregg Satterlee, G.R. Smith, Josh Richards, and Steve Francis at the finish line. (Heath Lawson photo)

The following night with 29 LOLMDS competitors signed in at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the 19th annual Grassy Smith Memorial, Chris started the night off again with a 10-lap heat race win locking him into the 3rd-starting position for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Ferguson brought out a caution on lap-19 after blowing a tire. Rejoining the field from the tail, Chris rallied back to a 19th place outing.
