April 28, 2018 - Chris Ferguson Bags a Pair of Top-10 Finishes at Smoky Mountain
On Friday night Chris Ferguson headed to Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tennessee) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series doubleheader. With 26 cars on and for the two-day Tennessee Tipoff Classic, Ferguson laid down the third fastest time overall in qualifying before placing 2nd in his heat behind Devin Moran. Earning the 5th-starting position for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chris dropped five spots to place 10th.

Returning on Saturday for another $10,000-to-win A-Main, Chris landed a 3rd place finish in his 10-lap heat positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the finale. Hanging on to a Top-10 finish, Ferguson posted a 10th place outing in the 50-lap affair. (Michael Moats photo)

April 21, 2018 - Ferguson Visits Whynot for Queen City Shootout
Returning with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Chris Ferguson was one of 39 cars signed in at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the two-day Queen City Shootout. Holding his spot in his heat race, Ferguson logged a 5th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top-3 into the opening night feature, Chris captured a 10-lap consolation victory positioning him 17th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $10,000 on the line, Chris Ferguson dropped seven spots in the 50-lapper recording a 24th place finish.

The following night for another $10,000-to-win A-Main, Ferguson grabbed the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race locking him into the 13th-starting position for the A-Main. Coming short of a Top-10 finish, Chris fell back to a 23rd place outing in the 50-lap affair.

Chris is currently third in the World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year chase and 15th in the overall point standings. Full results from these events are available at www.WoOLMS.com.

April 14, 2018 - 12th Place Finish in King of the Commonwealth at VMS
After Mother Nature cancelled the second attempt of the Illini 100 at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois) on Friday, Chris Ferguson headed to Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) on Saturday evening for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series sanctioned Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth. Drawing a stout field of 56 cars, Ferguson locked his spot into the $20,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Jonathan Davenport. Rolling off 8th, Chris dropped four positions in the 60-lap affair to place 12th.
