September 28, 2019 - Pair of Top 5 Finishes in Cotton Pickin' 100 at the Mag
Chris Ferguson was one of 35 Super Late Models signed in at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Friday night for the two-day Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. Following the second fastest lap in his time trial group behind Mike Marlar, Ferguson captured a 10-lap heat race victory. Starting the opening night feature in the 4th, Chris gained one spot in the 30-lapper to place 3rd behind Darrell Lanigan and Mike Marlar with Chris Brown and Brandon Overton completing the Top-5 finishers.

Returning on Saturday, Chris locked his spot into the $12,000-to-win finale with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Billy Moyer. Passing three cars in the 70-lap affair, Ferguson reeled in a 4th place finish behind Mike Marlar, Darrell Lanigan, and Brandon Overton with Dale McDowell coming in 5th. (Robert Holman photo)

September 7, 2019 - Fery Lands Podium Finish in World 100 Opener
Thursday night saw Chris Ferguson make the trek to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) kicking off the 49th annual World 100. Drawing 98 cars for a round of preliminary features, Ferguson recorded the 12th fastest lap in his time trial group before placing 2nd his heat behind Kent Robinson. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 5th, Chris improved two spots notching a 3rd place finish behind Billy Moyer and Kent Robinson with Jimmy Owens and Dennis Erb Jr. rounding out the Top-5. For the second round of the World 100 on Friday afternoon, Chris edged way into the final preliminary feature with the 5th and final transfer spot in his heat race. With $10,000 on the line, Ferguson passed eight cars in the 25-lapper to place 9th.

Wrapping up the 49th annual World 100 on Saturday night, Ferguson fell two spots short of a transfer position in his heat race. With a provisional already guaranteed, Chris sat out his consolation event. Starting the $52,000-to-win finale in 20th, Chris Ferguson held his spot for 100-laps logging a 20th place finish.

September 1, 2019 - 8th Place Finish in Bob Miller Memorial at PRP
Chris Ferguson invaded Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) on Saturday evening competing in a field of 31 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries for the Bob Miller Memorial. Following a 3rd place finish in his heat, Ferguson made it out just in time for the $12,000-to-win A-Main after the crew replaced his steering rack and right-front spindle. The following night at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) for the 51st annual Hillbilly 100, Chris edged his way into the $30,000-to-win main event with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat. Rolling off 13th, Ferguson dropped one spot in the 100-lapper logging a 14th place outing.
