Pair of Top-10 finishes with World of Outlaws at Port Royal

Friday night found Chris Ferguson in action at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) to kick off the doubleheader weekend with the Huey Wilcoxon Memorial. Drawing 43 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Ferguson scored a third-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. For the Billy Vacek Memorial on Saturday, Chris clocked in seventh in his group before placing second in his heat behind Brandon Overton. Starting the $15,000-to-win A-Main in eighth, Ferguson held his spot for the entire distance of the 50-lap affair to place eighth.
