Third-place finish with Spring Nationals at Wythe
Chris Ferguson made his lone start of the weekend on Friday afternoon at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, Va.) for the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals sanctioned contest. In a field of 23 cars, Ferguson came in fifth-fastest in time trials before placing second in his heat race. Starting the $10,053-to-win A-Main in fifth, Chris jumped up two spots in the 53-lap affair to place third. He followed Brandon Overton and Jonathan Davenport across the line. (Jacy Norgaard photo)
